Round Up
What a loooong break. Still here. Not moving. Let's have a round up of what been going on:
- It's nice of people to invite us round. And not every one is a great chef, so I can appreciate the effort. But really, people mustn't mix juices in the bucket they use to mop the floors with. That's just awful!
- I've just bought a new computer. Hahaha. Its a P4 2.8 with 512 RAM and CD copier and DVD player. Now I just need a copy of Windows XP (backup copy) and my plans will be complete. And of course I need a table or somewhere to put the thing.
- Shock, horror. Gossip doing the rounds. Told to me by the handyman (all seeing, all hearing general assistants). The fat, bearded, extremely unattractive PAW is having an affair with the new cleaner right under his wifes nose!!!!
I found out from the handyman, who found out when he was over at the PAW's house one weekend doing the gardening, and Mrs PAW was away. Also when Mrs PAW saw HER working here and asked her how she had found out about the job, SHE said that my neighbouring co-worker had told her.
Well you can imagine that this wasn't something I could keep to myself, so I told neigbouring co-worker who refused to believe it. But the other day I phoned HER from my work number, her phone was off so I left a missed call. After work PAW phoned neighbouring co-worker (NCW) and asked why she had been looking for HER. How did he know I had phoned HER, and why would SHE check with him first. It's not like they have any contact at work?
Also the librarian was also asking NCW the other day if she knew about anything going on between HER and PAW.
Not that I could care less. I can't stand PAW's small minded wife and SHE is a very effecient worker with initiative. The only annoying thing for me is that I just don't see either of them the same way anymore. And I really didn't need to know this. It pops into to my head whenever I'm around them and I'm becoming paraniod about accidently saying something because I'm not very good at keeping my mouth shut.
I really wish he hadn't told me.
